Verico Technology, a leading supplier of solutions for waterless offset and coating technologies, is launching its waterless Zahara plate in the Asia-Pacific region.
As a first step, Verico Technology has joined the Japanese Waterless Printing Association (JWPA). There are over 300 waterless offset printers in Japan and many of these are active JWPA members. The association works hard to promote this environmentally friendly printing process and the Japanese market has clearly indicated to Verico Technology that the chemistryfree Zahara plate would be a welcome alternative to the existing products.
Karol Wolnikowski, Global Sales Director of Verico Technology, and Haroon Reshamvala, Sales Manager, recently visited Japan and had numerous discussions with interested parties and potential partners there.
The future of this environmentally friendly form of printing and common goals were discussed at a meeting with Hisayoshi Tabata, Chairman of the JWPA, and Yuzo Ogawa, Executive Secretary of the JWPA. Having joined the JWPA, Verico Technology is now a co-sponsor of the association. Members of the JWPA prize the high quality of waterless offset printing and make extensive use of its butterfly logo as a marketing tool.
